Conspiracy: Everybody Loves One

I've got this theory.
It's seen quite clearly.
That Major League Baseball,
They're hidin' some stuff y'all.
And when it's all through,
They'll still blame you.

This past week A-Rod was identified as 1 of 104 positive steroid tests from a 2003 league wide study. He claims he was "young, stupid, and naive." I could agree. But my problem is not with the players who used steroids and cheated; my problem is with the powers at be keeping information secret. Last time I checked the MLB is not a government agency a'la the FBI, CIA, NSA etc. They should have to release the information they have!!!

Here's my theory.
MLB has 103 more names that tested positive in 2003. Why won't they release them? Because they are 103 of baseball's hottest stars and biggest names. I promise that the list is full of players such as Ivan Rodriguez, Sammy Sosa, Derek Jeter, and Randy Johnson among others. The sanctity of baseball has been compromised and no one is safe. I believe that MLB plans to release these 103 names one at a time, so as to do as much damage to the player's career as possible while limiting the MLB's responsibility to its players and most importantly it's game.

Steroids ruined baseball.
But baseball let it happen.
